NanoBeam Limited is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to help extend and enhance our range of software applications.

We require applicants educated to degree level (with a good BSc/MSc or equivalent in a Computing or Mathematics subject) with up to 2 year's experience. You will have skills in the following areas: real-time, C, GUI design, and scripting languages. Familiarity with Linux/UNIX and Windows programming environments will also be an advantage.

You will be responsible for the entire software lifecycle, from discussing requirements with customers all the way through implementation and testing to deployment. The job will cover many aspects of software development, and you will need to be adaptable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn. We will supply all the tools you require to complete your tasks successfully.

You will be joining a small dedicated team of software and hardware engineers. You will be independently motivated and productive, and will have full control over your work. You must be able to manage projects, communicate with team members, and stay on top of deadlines.

The position offers a salary in the range of £22,000 to £30,000 depending on experience, good career prospects, a company pension scheme and generous holiday allowance. There will be an opportunity to travel to customer installations around the world.
